Test Your Skin for Light Sensitivity

Follow these simple steps before your first treatment:

Your well-being is our top priority, so a quick skin sensitivity test is vital before your initial treatment. Here's how to do it:

  1. Power On the Device: Make sure your device is charged and powered on.
  2. Place the Device on Your Forearm: Gently place the device on your forearm skin for a short session of just 3 minutes.
  3. Check the Area: After this short treatment, take a look at your forearm. If the skin turns red during the treatment or if redness lasts for more than 2 hours after, your skin might be light sensitive. If this occurs, stop using the device immediately.

Best Practice

1. Always Use the Protective Glasses Included

Whenever you're using the red light pen, make sure to wear these glasses. Even though the light is incredibly beneficial for your skin, it's not meant for your eyes.

2. Do Not Look Directly at the Light Under Any Circumstance

Prolonged exposure to the red light can be uncomfortable for your eyes, so always focus it on your target area, not your eyes.

3. Optimal Distance is 1-3 Inches from Target Area

For the best results, maintain a distance of 1 to 3 inches from the area you're treating. This distance allows the red light to effectively penetrate your skin and promote healing without any discomfort.

4. Recommended Session Time: 5-10 Minutes, 2-3 Times a Day

To reap the full benefits of your Homesta red light pen device, we recommend sessions lasting between 5 to 10 minutes. You can use it 2 to 3 times a day to address your specific needs. Consistency is key when it comes to healing and relief. Start using every other day and over a couple of weeks this can be increased to daily to use.

5. It Takes 4-5 Hours to Fully Charge

Remember that it takes approximately 4-5 hours to charge your Homesta red light pen fully. Ensure it's charged and ready for whenever you need it.

Different Modes Explained

Pulse Function:

Within each mode there is a pulse function. This will be visible from the light pulsing instead of being held constant. Using this functionality provides:

  1. Enhanced Cellular Activity: Pulsing light may stimulate cells more effectively, aiding in tissue repair and regeneration.
  2. Reduced Heat Output: Pulsing reduces thermal effects, making the therapy more comfortable and safer.
  3. Energy Efficiency: This mode uses less energy while maintaining therapeutic effectiveness.
  4. Potential for Deeper Penetration: There's a possibility that pulsing light penetrates deeper into tissues, enhancing therapy for muscles and joints.
  5. Customizable for Various Conditions: Different pulse rates can target specific health issues, like pain relief or wound healing.
  6. Prevents Cellular Adaptation: Intermittent light exposure helps maintain the therapy's effectiveness over time by avoiding cellular habituation to continuous light.
